Galletti planetary mixer
Planetary mixer
The Galletti OMG SICOMA planetary mixer, with its forced mixing via satellite motion, achieves superior homogenization in the shortest mixing time. It delivers the highest quality mixing for all types of precast concrete and high-specification concrete.
In our company located in Barcelona, Galletti Ibérica We have a wide variety of mixers available, such as the planetary mixer.

Quality system
The manufacturing procedures for Sicoma mixers have complied with the ISO 9001 quality requirements since 19959 and were updated and approved by Cermet in 2009 as compliant with ISO 9001:2008.

3D printing
Since 1999, all mixers have been designed and continuously improved using three-dimensional modeling software.

Numerical control machining center
The mixer tank's carpentry is manufactured using an automatic numerically controlled milling machine to ensure perfect alignment and parallelism of the mixing shafts.

Running line
The mixers are assembled in line with very short lead times thanks to the high degree of standardization.

Patents
The mixer's sealing mechanisms, as well as other specific features, are protected by international patents.
Reducer
It is the heart of the Sicoma planetary mixer, produced in-house, representing the culmination of 60 years of experience. It has been designed to operate in extreme situations and withstand the harshest conditions. It is guaranteed for 10,000 hours of continuous operation, equivalent to more than 5 years, assuming 8-hour shifts for 250 days a year.
Quality built to build quality.

Mixing paddles
They complete the mixing action. Made of Ni-Hard cast iron with a minimum hardness of 550 HB, for extreme wear resistance. Their shape has been designed to accelerate the unloading phase, but does not affect the mixing performed solely by the briar blades. This maximizes the lifespan of both the mix and the blades.

Mixing arms
Sicoma mixers have three mixing arms on each star-shaped element and two peripheral arms. Depending on the size, they have different numbers of stars: two from the MP 1875/1250 onwards, and three in the MP 4500/3000 and 6000/4000 models. Made of spheroidal cast iron, they allow for easy adjustment of the blades relative to the bottom and walls of the tank.
Mixing paddles
The raised cover, equipped with one or more doors, allows easy access to the mixer for careful end-of-shift washing or for emergency repairs of some wear items, without the need for a long plant shutdown.
Available resources

Aggregate loading system
The planetary mixer can be supplied in four different configurations: closed tank, open tank, with fixed skip or with mobile skip.
How to cover the door
If the mixer's service platform is located below the discharge gate, a protective cover must be added to shield operators from the gate's rotation during opening and closing. This airtight protective cover is particularly useful when the mixer is working with dry mixes, as it contains and eliminates dust from the interior.

Skipdragline

Dust retention airbag
If the mixer's service platform is located below the discharge gate, a protective cover must be added to shield operators from the gate's rotation during opening and closing. This airtight protective cover is particularly useful when the mixer is working with dry mixes, as it contains and eliminates dust from the interior.

Hydraulic coupling
Supplied upon request, it allows for a slow start-up of the mixing reducer, even under full load.

Belt drive
In cases where a reduced height is required for mixers, it is possible to use a belt drive system, which allows the motor to be installed on the side of the tank.

Sample extractor
All planetary mixers can be equipped with a material sampling extractor. The operator can easily and safely take samples without opening the mixer lid and therefore without disconnecting the power supply from the main control panel.

High-pressure washing
The water, through a swivel joint, passes through the mixing reducer and reaches a number of nozzles, which vary according to the size of the mixer, which, when properly oriented, ensure a complete washing of the tank, the star, and the mixing arms.

Orbiting humidity probe
In cases where the material to be mixed cannot be contaminated or in cases where chemically aggressive substances have to be mixed, special materials (such as stainless steel) are used for the lining of the tank and the mixing organs.
Humidity probe at the bottom
Our planetary mixers can be equipped with an orbiting probe, which, attached to the peripheral arm holder, rotates submerged in the material for faster and more accurate measurement. The distinguishing feature of our mixers is the ability to route the cables connecting the probe to the electrical panel through the main shaft of the gearbox.

Side service door
In cases where access to the mixer from above is difficult, the bowl can be equipped with two side service doors. This solution is also recommended when improved accessibility and cleaning are desired for special dough mixes.
